I am finally back in production with my tumblers. Used to make these for pleco fanatics members where they became a popular item but had to put them aside due to other commitments setting up my aquarium imports. My fish and tumblers are my hobby but I also now run a separate online shop with other aquarium gear at fishwerx.com.au.

I designed these from the ground up about 2 years ago after not being really happy with the choices around, I wanted a tumbler that super easy to use and adaptable and I use these myself for various fish eggs with great success rates.

Features
  • Completely disassembles for cleaning
  • Comes with 2 grades of mesh for different egg sizes
  • Has a false bottom to protect eggs from predators
  • is standalone, weighted and designed to sink, just add air
  • Comes with everything you need inc weighted air stone and clamp

Apologies for the poor communication have been off the air for a while. Can't seem to make enough of these things, they sell like hot cakes but take me while to make. Am out of stock at the moment but will have more available in about a week.

Tumblers back in production again. Pm of you want any.

Have had a few enquiries about what types of eggs are suitable so here's some info for you from my own personal experience and feedback from others.

These tumblers are perfect for non clustered eggs e.g. cichlids and clustered eggs e.g. catfish. Some have used them for kili's and discus too.

The important thing to remember is that water flowing past the eggs oxygenates them and keeps them healthy. So its the water flow, not the tumbling that does the job. For non clustered eggs, use just enough air to keep them bobbing a little on the bottom. For clustered eggs, use just enough air to make the cluster rise a little. Rising on one side and not the other is ok.

Cheers, Fred
