i agree, they do seem like they come from the Pterygoplichthys or Cochliodon group. Would like to see more photos. cheers jk :thumbup:

First one Pterygoplichthys based on the dorsal rays.
P. weberi is what'd I'd say. Fairly common among the less common Pterygoplichthys.

I noticed a Pterygoplichthys punctatus also looks similar to a Pterygoplichthys weberi... so we can throw a 3rd possible pleco into the mix.

I was going to suggest Hypostomus Punctatus which has probably been renamed since I remembered it from. Quite a few of these around Essex LFS at the moment. Very interesting alternative to the common plecs.

The first one can't be a Hypostomus Punctatus as it has over 10 rays in it's dorsal fin
