My L200 has become much more active the last few months. Has some nice chew chew and odontode growth on the pectoral-fin spines, so after around 4 years I'm going to go with a boy:clap:

Also as you can see in the photo, He is quite spotty on the dorsal fin

Three of my four Corydoras duplicareus that I got from Irene months ago. They are doing very well and hang around with my trils quite happily even though they are half the size. One of them as you can see in photo has a fair bit of black colouration in the dorsal fin, not sure if this means anything or not:dk:

Nope not at all, the L200 put up with loads of L144 babies in the tank, must of pleased him no end, all those kids running around lol. I did have to rearrange the wood etc as my common bn and L104 wanted the same spot but everyone is happy now, the L200 has a bit of slate leaning against the back of tank and that's where he hangs out, no one else goes there lol.

Just out of curiosity, does your L200 eat alot of that Butternut? Could that be a factor in the beautiful coloration or was he/she like that when you got it?

I think that must be a Duplicareus 'super black'

note I have completely made that name up but it sounds cool!

I would say He was like that when I got him but is fed a good variety of veggies plus algae wafers. Absolutely loves courgette skin even when small, this may help in maintaining the colouration:dk:
