Its taken me ages (about 8 months) but i finally have the first phase of my fish room done, there are 24 2 foot tanks that will be used for breeding tanks, been up and running for just over a month now, the only things spawning so far are my adolphoi and black cories, and my royal whiptails but its a start lol.
i have 3 broken tanks that i need to repair (the ones turned with the backs facing out), and need to stock half of them still, but the pics will give you an idea of how its looking.
Phase 2 will be next year lol

Where all the crap and spare tanks have been dumped waiting for phase 2

Very nice .

What have you got stocked so far then?
there are groups of cory's: adolphoi, panda, blacks, robinae, metea.
a group of apistogramma viejitas, then the clown plecs, 183's, 333's, 213's and whiptails

Looks very professional Brian. Any plans for more tanks, is that phase 2? What filtration and water changing methods are you using?

the racks for the 2 footers are john allen racks, made for shops, but just as good in a fish room lol.
they are all air driven, either with sponge filters or U/G's, most have secondary internals mainly for flow. i will be doing daily small (10%) changes on every tank, i have a 200ltr water drum and a pond pump to make it easier, i did w/c's on the 11 tanks yesterday in about 10 mins so happy with that.
phase 2 will be larger tanks, need to build the racks for these, i have a few 4 footers to go in, some for larger plecs, and the rest for grow out tanks (an eternal optimist me! lol)
