This morning i heard some splashing in my 300L and peered in through the darkness to see what was happening. I saw that my largest hujeta gar had something in its mouth. I thought it was a tetra then turned the lights on to find it was a smaller gar it had taken on, it was half its size and had only the tail sticking out. If thats not bad enough the effort it must have taken to swallow the little chap had ripped its throat to bits and had caused some internal damage too as it was floating upside down and sinking to the bottom. i caught the larger one and removed its last meal from its mouth thinking that it would be ok after but to no avail.....it kept sinking to the bottom then was being attacked by 6 grumpy Geos and about 30-40 buenos aires tetras. He didnt make it.

Ooops, just realised i put this in pleco chat....sorry.

Still got one. They are aupposed to be very good with each other and they were not hungry as i fed them last night. I think because one was bigger than the other 2, i dont think you would have a problem if they were all the same size.
