Once you take a piece of veg out after 12 hours do you replace it? at this age while they are growing fast they need access to food constantly. I also water change every day as what goes in must come out

Courgette cheers jack knew that was it i sware!
I have soacked the tabs and they went for it.... maybe they wer'nt getting to the food because of the adults/sub-adults?

I lose one fry every now and then. They seem to always be the smallest ones that drop off so I guess they just might not be getting to the food. I drop a couple of algae wafers in per night so there's plenty to go around.
I accidentally killed my whole first spawn because I used a new piece of driftwood in their tank (that's what I think was the cause anyway..)
But since then I've had success...despite me having to do all the work because the male keeps kicking the damn eggs!
