Hello All,

I have 6 tanks at home. In about 2 weeks i have to swap a few Ls around, as they are getting bigger etc. All of the water tests indicate same water parameters and also all tanks are same temp.

In this case, would I still have to drip acclimatise ?

Any thoughts cheers jk

Nah just toss em in. Ok you don't have to be that dramatic. I usually put them in a bucket with some of their water, add a few cups of their new water and let them sit quietly while I get their tank all ready with furnishings and stuff, then toss em in. :)

I put them in a bag (a big fish bag like you buy them from the shop in) and add small amounts of the new tanks water in over a couple of hours. . .

A bucket would be much more comfy. . lol but went with bag do the temp was samebut then that's what a heaters for! :O

just a thought, the bucket will have stress toxins in it as they are moved, so I usually put them in a collander and sink the collander in the tank when ready .They just swim out of the collander into the tank water..all good
