Hi all, just wanted to pick your brains. What do you all do about carbon in your filter? I use the fluval bags simply as they are easy and work out cheaper when you add the price of media bags to the 1kg tub of loose granuales. Anyone got any easy fix ideas? Ideally for the price of media bags or for pre packed carbon.

Thanks

I just don't use carbon. Doesn't really do much and requires replacement often to be effective. Also can be dangerous also if carbon is not replaced routinely.

Carbon is about the most usless thing you can use in a tank it will dump when fully loaded it removes almost nothing it takes up space.
