hi, I was given a Whisper 100 air pump , want to hook it up to my 2 hydra-sponge filters #4&5 in the 54g trigon/corner tank. I currently use 2 indivudal 40's .
It was free,so i took it, but not sure if i should use it . What do you guys think? too strong or ok ?

fish: 2 L128's
harlequin raspboras
pencil fish
rainbow fish
farlowella

thanks,
Georgie

you could buy those taps that adjust how much oxy you sent out. I think to much oxy is always good, but depends on how much curculation you get in the water. cheers jk

As bigbird says, i just use a bank of taps and open an unused one to bleed off the unwanted airflow until i get the right air pressure going to whatever i have hooked up ;)
