hey guys
i have a fluval vicenza 180 tank being cycled right now (with filter media from other tanks) which in the near future i plan to add:
2xL002
3x Foerschi whiptails or LG6
3xPeppermints
and maybe a pair of aggassizi cichlids or any other dwarf cichlids (no rams)

does anyone suggest any other fish i could add to the tank?
i was thinking maybe different types of killifish

thanks in advance

sounds like a fine set up as it is (or will be). maybe a few dither fish, but that is really down to personal preference and what can be found locally, I like some of the unusual tetras, like rosy tetra or similar.
maybe you could post a pic of the tank?

its only been a 9 days since its been started but i plan to put the fish in a few weeks time
tanks not worth a pcture yet there is only some wood and anubias.
some more wood is being soaked right now

tetras could be good. what kind of tetras? im pretty sure we have alot of vairety in tetras
but theres only a few types of loaches available in canberra and im pretty sure zebra loaches are not one of them!! and i never had much success keeping loaches

maybe some sterbai corys?
and what dither fish did you have in minds irene??

seeing as you are going for a pair of dwarfs... id go for kribensis (pelvicachromis pulcher) the pair in my tank have real personality and my male always used to greet me when i can in the romm, but hes now looking after his first fry!

as for other fish, rainbows look great, try lake kutubus or banded. rummy nose tetras, neon tetras are cool too. ill stop now, lest i go on forever:)

i thought kribensis are african fish needing total different ph to my other fish!! but i was wrong!i am going to kill myself because i saw a few of these beauties on for auction at our local district meeting!!
they seem to be very hard to get here.
i dont like neon tetras (i dont know why i just really not interested in them)-i want something more interesting
you should keep going ;)

torpedo barbs i believe are rarely seen and are very expensive

i found some kribensis at a different lfs and i got a male and female so after 2 weeks of cycling the kribs where put in the only problem was that the LFS guy put not enough water in a smalle bag for the kribs and they havent eaten anything at all and because this is in my dining room i provided a cover with a large towel
unfortunetley i forgot to buy some blood worms

so here is the plan now
2 kribs
2 L002
3 peppermints
3 foerschi/LG6 whiptails
5 dwarf loaches
is this an overload for bootom dwellers?????
