OK, so they're not strictly plecos but they are South American catfish.
I am fascinated by Brachyrhamdia, especially the Corydoras mimics.
Now, I've had a B.meesi for just over a year, and recently bought a B.imitator.
But now I have acquired 10 juvenile B.marthae.
I'd like to have a go at breeding them. Any tips? Have Brachyrhamdia ever been bred in captivity? Normally it's really hard to get a group together, so is that the reason for no breeding reports or do they need some tough-to-reproduce triggers?
Many thanks,
Paul
