wow i love the apisto females. They are the most caring and protective of any fish that I have come across. She is also in absolute colour and she seems to me like hoovering like a helicopter over her fry. just stunning. welldone and congrats. cheers jk :thumbup:
OH beautiful Irene. I have bred apistogramma cacatuoide..they are great parents..I love the dwarf cichlids... Thanks for sharing them with us..
the young seem to grow at different rates and some are quite big now -around 2cm while others are smaller and some down to .5 cm.
I have managed to catch a few and moved them to qt tank to see if survive in there. but they are really hard to catch!!
the adults are now chasing the larger young away and displaying to lay more eggs.
