I managed to take some rather blurry/shakey piccies of the two main tanks last night.

This is OH's newest toy - a 2m Rena tank which he is setting up for our three stingrays and eight discus. Currently only been up an running a week, so no fish in yet (well two mollies that act as our canary fish). We have used one old filter and one new (Eheim  ) filter and he is going to finish topping it up with water from the old stingray tank once they are ready to move.

This is the Zeb setup - not complete yet, I have more caves on order (there are four in there at the moment, but you can only see one!). This is running off of an Eheim Professional III 2080 and has two Eheim pumps - the 300 and 600 running to give them a good water circulation.

I need to get a background for it but not sure what colour to go for - any suggestions??

Hmm looking through the website it is going to mean taking everything out the tank and starting over... perhaps I'll have time in the summer but think I'll get a cheap background for now.

:hi:
Can't get much cheaper than an old bedsheet
Preferably single and preferably dark blue, adds a good sense of depth, simple to rig up with a little initiative.
Tanks look great

really nice tanks, love the rocks.
for most of my backgrounds I get a piece of hardboard and paint it. and put it outside the tank at the back.
I have heard of people who use moulded internal backgrounds (like the juwel ones) but get problems with snmall fish getting stuck behind it. So I have avoided those.
look forward to ray pics!

Nice tanks Zoe. I just painted my zeb tank background black and it looks really good, I'm very pleased with it
