best size breeding groups??

hi all
i have 3 different groups of cory all in their own species tanks..so my question is...what is the best way to get them spawning????i have:
7x melanotaenia
8x panda
10x sterbai

each in a 2ft 65ltr tank with air driven filtration.
would it be better to put a partition in the tanks and seperate them into smaller groups or just leave them as big groups??

Leave them as large groups would be my advice.
I have 1 colony of sterbai consiting of 12 sub-adults.
Im continuosly doing cold water changes but its very
much a waiting game with corydoras.

mine respond to cold water changes with low tds, they dont react till the next day!
