Hi

This all depends on the type of boiler I am assuming it is a stranded combi or condenser boiler?
If so I would be happy with the location but you could place some expanded polystyrene around the end of the tank to keep the heat out.
People forget expanded polystyrene keeps cold and heat out.

combi boiler m8.bad news tho,found the tank,done the sizing up and....it don,t fit :wb::wb:
forgot about the electric cupboard :wb:
the tank will be less than 2 foot away from the bolier.i,m not to keen on that so i need to find more room.
i wont a bigger tank so i don,t have the same problems i had when i started my 75L one.will have to wait till i can make room :cry:

lol my missis just said "it looks like ur learning now"
shes right.

mmm you might find that the boiler will acctually eliminate the need for much of a heater. As air is a good insulator so the tank might not acctually get cooked.

and even then you could go for fish that like higher temps

maybe put a bucket of water or larger drum filled with water, 2foot away from the boiler and see what temp the water would have ? Maybe it is not that bad ? cheers jk :thumbup:
