Big Fella needs an ID

Hi all,

I've had a few people questioning the ID on this fella, including a thread on PC remaining unsure as to the ID.
A few members that I trust to ID him have had differing opinions also, so I thought I would see what the general idea was. Everyone feel free to comment.

For such a large fella you would think it would be easier to ID him, not harder.

Options so far put forward are Gibbi or Pardalis.
Keep in mind he is 52cm TL.....pardalis are meant to grow to 35cmSL.

Not all lengths on PC are accurate. Size of the dorsal, pattern and overall shape i would say a gibby

With the belly pattern i can see where Pardalis IDs would come from but the decider as far as i know is the eye, if i recall only gibbys get the patternation in the eye :dk:

thank you everyone. I guess we will go with Gibbi It never bothered me what he actually was, it's just nice to have an ID especially for posting pics.
