Im wanting to set up a biotope for my 333's but im struggling to find specified details about natural habitat etc etc any help would be muchly appreciated:)

good luck with your project. Post some pics as well. I would use some small boulders, river rocks and pebbles, then on top a layer of fine sand. The water flow will adjust everything and voila. I am also doing one for my L134 colony and will keep you informed. I will place all caves towards the back, slate and pebbles on top and then the flow from left to right. cheers jk :thumbup:

Thanks matt! Bb sounds good! Keep me updated with pics too! Im thinking smoothed river rocks/pebbles and bogwood on top with the natural log caves and a powerhead flowing from left to right with an airstone flowing up from rocks

sound good, as a tip for tank cleaning, you will get an area where the detrius will gather, this is just normal water flow etc, I always try and get it to the front middle side so it is easier to syphon out later, but i like your concept as well. good luck :thumbup:

I started the thread Matt linked you to and I'm going to be starting my biotope project very soon. I have the tank and lots of advice on how it looks. Mine is going to be based H Zebra and will be a hard rock scape with very little substrate, lots of flow and dim lighting.
