You can also overdose the tank on flourish excell spot treating the effected areas. If you use this method try and remove as much as possible yourself.

I would remove by hand. Take off and leaves affected and remove decor from tank if trying to scrub the stuff off as you will see more of a problem if the bits start floating around.

I have heard overdosing excel has worked for some but also it can cause die off of some plants, especially vallis. I have never used it and do suffer from BBA but is controlled if you don't overfeed and remove a little every night during normal daily maintenance.

Agreed with all of above, make sure the bits that break off and float about dont get into your filtration system itll cause massive problems if not destroy your filters:cry:

I had it start in one of my tanks i just eliminated the main sources by hand and scrubbed before it got into my filters
