Bought this as a Para Pleco L075

In my view way to small to tell. I thought l75 has different markings. How old are these? Can you get pics of the parents ? Cheers jk
Unfortunately, there's no way to see a pic of its parents. It was the only one they had at the LFS. I didn't know much about them when I bought it, but it was different and I was told fairly rare, so I bit on it. When I got home, I looked it up and it didn't look like the pics I found of other Para Plecos, but it is young and only 2.5 inches long or so.
The LFS owner didn't have a sticker on the tank for it, though he seemed rather thorough in labeling all of his other tanks with their inhabitants. He told me from memory that it was an L075 Para Pleco and that it was $45. I talked him down to $40 and brought it home.
I will post different pics so that it can be seen a little better once it gets a little bigger. Maybe it will grow into its spots or maybe it is something completely different. That's one of the reasons why I joined PP to see if it can be identified by the fine pleco pros here. :clap:

It sort of resembles an L147 or L009 from some of the pics I've seen. Is that a possibility? I'm sorry for obsessing, I'll stop, LoL!

Alrighty, so if it turns out to be an L147 Spotted Tiger Pleco, is it worth the 40USD (25.66BP, 43.83AUD) I spent on it? I am sure the LFS will take it back and give me credit towards another pleco.
I feel I have another candidate and I am pretty sure this is the one. I think he is an L-207. I have seen some pics of them and they are just about a dead ringer.

I took the mystery fish back to the LFS and got store credit for him since whatever he was, he was certainly not a L075 Para.
I replaced him with a L260 for just a tad bit more money.
