Hi all

Just wondering if anyone has successfully bred 2 different L numbers in the same tank before? If so what were they?

I know fish do better in their own colony but was thinking of putting some of my 134's in with my 397's is this a good idea?

Cheers Greg

I prefer to keep species only tanks as then you can give them the correct dietry, water and temperature requirements for each one  Also L134 Peckoltia Compta can be very territorial :fr:

397's and 134's have different dietary requirements so I wouldn't risk putting them in the same tank.
their diets arent that different at all...

397's beneifit from a protein feed once a week.... as do 134's.... feed either species 100% protein feeds and they will suffer...

both eat sera flora flake and tropical flake....

both eat zucchinni

both eat viformos

both benefit from wood in the tank....

actually im having trouble finding any real differences

if you classify royal whiptails as an L-number then yes i breed 2 species per tank :)
