well strange to keep them with goldfish and terrapin as they have different water requirements and temp needs. I suggest the BNs are not enjoying the best of conditions for them so they are reluctant to breed.
they do not want much protein, they need prawns once a month at most.. ditto tetra prima. you will give them tummy ache. they need lots of vegs!

Hi, Like Graham my first thought was that this is a joke but if it isn't - first off, get rid of the terrapin, they are a waste of space. Next slowly bring the temperature of your tank up to around 78f, done slowly your goldfish will also survive in that temperature but it would be better to rehome them as well, once you just have BNs in there start with some easy fish ie Guppies etc, once the tank has been running for a while you can start getting some other fish like neons.

hey mate. Lets not start guys, he's new . Well first off, goldfish and terrapins dont mix well. Plecs and terrapins really dont mix! Have you thought further witht the reptile? These animals can get to a length of 30cm sometimes. And get very agressive and nippy, and probabily will kill the plecs... For the best results keep the plecs seperate from the goldfish. The goldfish wont be happy with the water fluctuations to breed the plec properly. (i change the temp by 4 or 5 degrees to spawn) the goldfish wont tolerate this well...
People leed you to beleive that bns breed in anything. NOT TRUE! Mine were wild caught so it took 6 months for them to spawn for me. Add some bogwood, keep the tank really clean, feed very well for about a month, then let the tank stand (dont change water for 1 week then do small water changes. Provide a tight fittling cave also. feed on courgette every 2 days, algae wafters and a tablet of frozen bloodworm once a week (what i feed mine) any questions ask me, please
