Breeding L066 and L340 plecos - advice please

I have a trio (1m 2f) of wild caught L066 plecos and a group (2m 4f) of wild caught L340s and my aim is to spawn them by the end of the year. Please give me all the advice you can!

Good food, good water and plenty of caves and leave them to it :thumbup:

I found 340 very easy to breed, as Joby says, clean water, lots of food, tiny caves for these. mine are kept at 34c and breed like rabbits

i was told the mortality temp for these kinda fish was 32ish, my l270 regularly hit 34 and before they did get that high they never bred, now they do quite often

they vary, my L270 breed at 28 degrees no problem.

my main advice is dont keep them in the same tank.

try different water tds and temps and a choice of caves, and have lots of patience.
