Hey guys after only two weeks of obtaining a very hairy male I have found two massive clumps of eggs in his cave, which I swapped for a smaller one two days ago with a corresponding water change!! To say I'm pretty stoked is a understatement as they are my first l number spawn other an Ancistrus , so I would like to know any pointers you guys can give me for when and hopefully the fry hatch. Like do I leave them with dad and let them leave the cave or take them? And we're do I raise tjem? The tank is only small a two foot tank with ug filter, sponge filter and power head. Ay tips very much appreciated :D

well done. you may find the eggs hard to raise in a fry saver, so good luck. I used to breed gold stripes (there is an article on here somewhere) which are almost the same.
if you disturb the male by shining a torch into the cave to look, he will eat the eggs. you have to guess he is on eggs by his constant fanning behaviour. once they hatch you can try a flash picture but not a torch. i found the young (and adults) like cooked peas with skin off and cooked green beans slices longways. good luck
