bristlenose with sunken eyes and stomach

i was cleaning the filter today and noticed two of my bristlenose acting different and on further checking them they had sunken eyes and one had sunken stomach.

the others all seem fine apart from those two and i am concerned incase it affects the others somehow and what might be best to treat with if needed.

i am sorry that your little bn's are not well. If any of mine look not well i always seperate just incase . my idea being what is there to lose?

have you added melafix? always good for a pep up.

I cant help you with knowing what is wrong with them but i hope that some1 else can.

What you need for this is Interpets No9 This is used for internal bacterial infections...However it may possibly be a bit too late, as it sounds like the fish is at an advanced stage...help keep things clean and healthy with water changes as there is no substitute for good clean water.

Spot on D = as above interpet No9 if you can recover them from this stage run a wormer through them once the medication has finished

i have done a water change today but didnt have any interper no:9 but i had some kusuri wormer plus so treated the tank with that. i also have waterlife myxazin to hand if thats ok to use with BN instead of waiting to get no:9 ??

i noticed the 3" male BN with sunken eyes and stomach must be eating a little as seen pooing today and will see how he is over the next few days with treatment.

the 2.5" female L144 has lost all colour (nearly white now) just doesnt seem to be herself and has sunken eyes with normal looking stomach, she also looks a bit rough and ragged today.

i am curious to know why this has or might have happened. would these BN have been diseased from birth or is it due to the other BN in the same tank etc, as the other all seem fine at present as actually found some young L144 and brown fry today which i wasnt expecting.
