can i use Koralia pumps in freshwater?

hello, i want to install a koralia or other model circulation pump to my plec tank, as they love fast flows. is this suitable? thankyou :D

Yes, I used to use one. But dont confuse them with powerheads like I did. They may be rated at XXXX lph but because they have a much larger aperture, the flow is far more spread out. A 1000lph powerhead will shoot the water through a 1cm diameter aperture but a 1000lph Koralia will blow it out of a 4cm diameter aperture. They are far more gentle.

thanks guys, what would you use for some bns, L134 and panda corys?
i intend to blow it over a large rock or some wood, so the plecs can sit relaxed :D

I use 3. Koralia 1 and 2 in my 125 gallon, and a Koralia mini in my 20 gallon. If you want a more directed stream, they come with a concentrator attachment, which I don't use.
