I am breeding longfin bristlenose, have been for about 4 months, in the last 3 weeks the tank has gone cloudy. I have Purigen bag in there, trying not to water change too often, all tank tests are fine.
Fish are healthy and growing. Have knocked the amount of zucchino and replaced it with cucumber and algae wafers.
I found if i water changed too often, they would die.
I am at a loss, they are still breeding, eating and growing. The tank is just cloudy?
It has 2 internal filters as well.
Just to reiterate all water tests are fine:wb:

hi, could be algae bloom or something. I assume ph is ok??

i do not understand why water change upsets the fry?? how are you doing w/c?
I breed long fin Bns and marbled BNs. I w/c every other day, not lost any fry that i know of.
its is important to w/c with right water at right temp and pour in very gently.

I am at a loss, they are still breeding, eating and growing.

I would leve it alone for a few days let it settle
If as you say the fish are well then it should not be a problem.

Sorry it is not Purigen it is Nitrasorb and it is in the flow of water from 1 of the filters.
Tank is still cloudy but they are all eating and growing.
