Going to get rid of my co2 today, it's playing up again.
The dam thing didn't shut down last night, and when I sorted it
Out it didn't come on this morning. There's plenty in the bottle tho!!!
I don't wont this thing to gas my fish so it's coming out.
I'll use easycarbo instead...

It's a D & D set up. I've had issues with it before,stuck open then shut.
The price of the bottles are going up to. I also work nights so if it goes tits
up and doesn't turn off I'll come home to a tank full of dead fish. I'm not havin that,
so it's coming out. The last time it played up I couldn't get it going for a week, the fish seamed
to like not having it....

Hi all,
The last time it played up I couldn't get it going for a week, the fish seamed to like not having it....
You can get a lot of sub-lethal and stressful effects with adding CO2, even if you don't have a CO2 dump that gasses all your fish.

There are some details here: <plecoplanet.com/?page_id=829> in th section "Fish, plecs and respiratory distress." & "Biological filtration capacity".

You don't need CO2 to grow a huge range of plants, they just grow more slowly without it.

cheers Darrel
