co2 diffuser

hi,whats the best way to clean one that at the bottom off the tank?
i don,t wont to remove it cos its a pain to get to and i don,t like putting my arm in my tank.
its got some algea on it that i think is slowing my co2 down.
any ideas?

Have you tried an old toothbrush? I use a yeast based co2 system and I clean mine everytime I change the yeast which is every two weeks. I have read that it helps to have two diffusers so when one is in the tank the other is getting cleaned.

Good idea but it would be a pain in the **** to get to.
I was thinking about putting a small amount off excel or even H2O2 on it
when it's off, I can get to it with a tube ok.
