hi when i was breeding them i would have two males and one female and the reason for that was the more dominent male would be the one the female would breed with given when two males compete with each other for a female it is said to increase hormone levels that has worked for me in the past but if u have one male and two females that means there is a chance both females will lay eggs in the cave around the same time and the male will fan all the eggs so u get ore eggs and fry its all up to u and depends on your tank size the hight of the tank doesnt really mater much but the lenth and wighth does matter then water temp plays a part in breeding them

Update there were two clutches that hatched in the colony tank and the pairs I have set up in individual tanks also bred. One pair threw the eggs out of the breeding cave but I did hatch them in an egg tumbler.
