Common B/N set up tank ***

Im wanting to set up a 2ft tank for breeding Common B/N and I want to get 2 male and 4 female is that to many for that size tank? What's the recommended ratio for every male to female? Thanks for any help

You could probably reduce female ratio. B/N are very easy to breed just make sure they have a cave each and they will take off. I have 2 males and 2 females and about 200 plus fry and counting. Regular water changes helps as well

I would not put 2 males in tank that size, they will fight

For that size tank i would have a ratio 1male and 2 females with plenty of hiding spots. More males will cause fighting and injuries. Good luck cheers jk :thumbup:
