I have a few groups now of grades S, SS & SSS also a lower grade tank the shrimp pictured is S grade almost

I think its by how much white they have, there are many different patterns too, that might have an influence on grade...not 100% sure.

A single specimen of shrimp was sold at an auction for around 3k!!!

You got it Steve that is how they are graded the more solid white the better then there are a range of red patterns some more desirable than others.
