Pop some melafix in for a few days. that will stop it getting infected and it should heal in no time

we had one with a strange belly yesterday and now we don,t.
we do have a small head, wots left of it, and half a small tail floating around the tank....

Any fish will have a chomp on a dead tank mate. I recently did a head count on my community tank and I appear to be a blue ram down - never found a body!

keep water very clean, best way to avoid any illness.
neons should live for 2 or 3 years, but the betta might not. depends what sort of betta.
i used to have a siamese fighter betta spledis i think, they only live for about a year but happly ate all my baby guppies.

the betta is fine now but im wondering if its the "seachem flourish excel"i,m useing thats harming the neons,:dk:
even tho i,m follow the directions to the letter, even a little less.
i do 10% water change every day in this tank too.i have noticed that they seam aggrissive to each other, chaseing each other round the tank and even nipping each other, well thats wot it looks like.i will say they are nearly an inch long, may be close to there age limit..:dk:

Hi all,
If the Neons are showing a lot of aggression it may be that some are weaker, and these will be picked on a become stressed and more likely to die. If you can break up line of sight (more plants?) it may help as it wil give the weaker ones somewhere to hide, so they are not being continually harrassed.

cheers Darrel
