I have notice a black dead spot bacterial build up nin my sand that i have missed when doing clean ups.... what do i do? Should i just moved through iot and suck it up or take the fish out, clean it, water change, water check then replacr the fish? Or tuen up the temperature so bacteria can not reproduce then clean it? Or none of them??

Any help would be great thankyou

stir it up then do a w/c.
remember to stir sand every few weeks. or have much less sand and have some mts snails to burrow in sand.

mts snails are great and do a wonderful work and digging the sand. If you do not have these, gently use your fingers to stirr up the sand slightly. cheers jk

Siphon out the sand in that spot into a bucket, swill it around in the tank water and pour off the dirty water. Hand scoop the sand back into the tank, making sure you filters are off when you do it or they will suck up particles of it.
