Here are the product details:

•LCD display
•Range: -50 C to + 70 C
•Cable length: 1 meter

While they are not waterproof I have dropped them in water by mistake, retrieved them fairly quickly with no problems. I use these on all my tanks and have found them to be extremely acurrate and reliable.

With it heating up these guys are worth there weight in gold!!!
