I've got 4 x L201's
1 obvious male who caves &
2 that I think are females, who just hang out in the shade
and move about between various shady bits &
1 other which I think is a female but caves half of the time
& hangs out the other half.
Do females cave or is it a sub male ? ???
They are all about 3.5"

I find a female will use a cave if there isn't much hiding places in the tank, but when i have a few bits of wood in their tank, females will tend to hide in the wood rather than in a cave.

Probably to save getting trapped suprisingly by a passing male LOL !

To get your 201s sexed, it is better to take overhead pictures of them and post them on the forum.
