I see you're from the U.S.

Ask your fishstore where he orders wood from, most in the U.S.comes from the northern region, upper midwest usually.Mine came from upper Minnesota. My Plec never leaves his place,at least when i'm in the room.

Edit: Look for wood that is mounted to slate, that's what i have.

If the wood is mounted to slate, you're good to go.

You need Malaysian driftwood or Eucalyptus root. Go to AB they sell both there. Also if you can find Cholla wood my BNs love it. Parot perches are made of it.

It's always good to soak new wood for a day or two in a bucket of water.Sorry,i should have mentioned that in my last post.Don't panic, let the filter system do it's job.

Give them a good rinse, there's usually a slate powder on them from cutting.

Edit:What kind of wafer are you feeding???I use Wardley
