Hello!
I bought 4 Farlowella yesterday, relatively cheap (£5.95) and unidentified species.
Once they were home and settled in I had a much closer look and found that one was distinctly different from the rest in colour, shape, behaviour and the pattern of scales on the belly.
I've attached a couple of pics. My guess is that the lighter-coloured ones are F.vittata and the darker one is F.mariaelenae but this is just a guess and they don't quite fit the pics I have seen online.
I have lots more pics of these if it helps, or can upload higher quality pics - just trying not to overload the first post.
Can anyone help with a positive ID?
Many thanks,
Paul M-B
