Feeding 1" Zebra Pleco's

Hi everyone :hi:

I was interested in what people feed zebra pleco's from an inch to adult size?
Also what size tank would you keep about 8-10 adults in to keep them happy?

I feed a big mixture of the following, all crushed up together...
I also feed micro bloodworms and frozen prawns from time to time.

tetra prima
tetra doramin
JMC catfish pellets
Hikari sinking wafers
earthworm pellets
nutrafin flake food
nutrafin max preditor sticks
spititulina wafers


anyway, have they settled in ok?

well I support SmithRC, I would also add occasional peas with skins off.

as for tank size - Our 5 adults live in harmony in a 140L if I add a 6th (I've tried a couple of times) it goes wrong with all hell breaking loose.

However some have a lot more adults in smaller tanks - It really does depend on the groups dynamics.

If they all grow up together from a young age you might be fine with a smaller tank...
