I have 6 of these little guys on there own in a 3.5x2x2.5 foot tank, how do I get them eating, catch into a fry saver? Drop a pellet in and hope they know it's there?
Any suggestions?

Cheers

these are great Ls and I also have these. They have a great sense of smell and knowledge when food is present, so I would not worry. They are meat and vegie eaters so vary the diet, in the early stages prdominant vegie eaters. The Hikari or tetra wafers are good. I would drop in 2 wafers in the tank late evening 1hour before lights out and one on left of tank and 1 on right of tank to give all a chance. Also drop in zuchinni, brocolli and other vegies, you will soon see which they like, but remove these after 24hours. They also like to knibble on the aufwuchs on the wood. Good luck with these.cheers jk

i will try this tonight, fingers crossed they eat it, the breeder who i bought them off was feeding them brine shrimp and shrimp pellets, so i will drop 2 shrimp pellets in or maybe 1 shrimp and 1 hikari wafer

they should be fine. try some flakes they will scatter well through the tank (but not too many!)
will you add any other fish? sometimes some small dither fish like tetras will give them more confidence to come out.
