Filter questions

I'm down grading to just my Juwel Rekord 800 now. The filter itself is crap so I'm running 2 Fluval U4's on it as well. Just wondering if it's safe for me to get out the Juwel filter?

The tank itself is over a year old and so is the substrate and decor. One fluval has been running since September, the other only a week or two. The older ones slightly broken to the point it has an annoying dripping sound that drives me crazy. Performance is unaffected though.

Any helps appreciated :)

If it has the crappy black filter thing stuck in the corner then they are pretty easy to remove. They are normally stuck on to the glass with half a dozen splodges of silicone. Get a long thin knife and stick it down the sides thus cutting through the silicone.

Oh and the 2 x pooval U4,s will be good enough until you save up and buy a Eheim:whistle:
