While feeding my fish this morning I noted what I thought to be a blue eyed BN. Funny thing is, I don't have any. Then I noticed it also has a red eye !! This fish is approx 5 months old and from Albino parents. Just wondering if anyone has ever seen BN's with different colored eyes before. Love to hear what you think. Shiela

Thanks so much for the replies. Actually thought I had a one of a kind fish as I did some googling and didn't see any fish anywhere with different colored eyes.
What I'm wondering now is, Should I breed this fish back to one of it's parents (depending on it's sex ) and hope for more fish with pigmented eyes, or just enjoy him/her as an oddball fish in my collection ? I hope it's a male, he would look great with a face full of bristles and those eyes !

i have had albino b/n with odd black eye also.... sometimes later as adults the pigment dies off and it has 2 red eyes again :)

had one albino that turned common b/n at about 5-6cm over a period of a month....
