Ive had a spare adult pair sitting in my grow out tank for months and due to me constantly disturbing the tank 2-3 times a day they just haven't been able to get comfortable enough to breed. The female looks like she is carrying eggs as she has a nice soft fat belly but I'm not sure if they will breed just yet. If she does have eggs on board then if they are bought asap and put into a dark tank and left alone for a week or two you may just get some fry sooner than you'd expect.
They eat well on any fresh foods and dry foods. I think they are about 2-3 years old but can't tell exactly. They are about 11-13cm n length. Pics below show them next to a small ruler.
