FX5 won't run

Just set up my tank filled it up and plug the fx5 in and it worked fine. I the. Turned it off after a minuite to adjust the outlet, I then turned it back on and it won't do anything apart from buzz now and again. Does anyone know what it could be?

I guess the only thing you can do is check the impeller to see if it's broken.

Or leave it unplugged drain it fill it again and plug it in again.

They do shut off on their own I forget why but I thunk you can google their set DVD/video and it might explain it. Hagen/fluval usually have pdf's available for all their products.

I personally think their customer service stinks. They'll just tell you to solve it on your own or buy new parts.

Thanks for that. I stripped the impeller down earlier and it started running. Now I need a new o-ring for it as its leaking doh!

I hope my lfs have one in tomorrow

Which one is it the lid o ring or a smaller one from inside?

All the internal o rings can be Biught at a hardware/plumbing store
Just take the damaged one fir size reference

I buy all my o rings from a plumbing shop
