G’day Pleco people,
Long time reader, but now that I finally have my dream aquarium up and running, time to seal the deal and become a member. I’m an ecologist, but work in terrestrial systems, mostly woodlands, forests and deserts. My aquarium is a 2,700 litre Rio Negro biotope, simulating a blackwater pool, complete with river bank, with a dozen Uaru. In terms of plecos, I currently have a 40cm long Sailfin Pterygoplichthes gibbiceps with other catfish including two twig catfish, four striped raphael and a dozen Emerald Brochis / Cories. Most eager to track down some L102 Snowball Plecos, the true Hypancistrus inspector, plus some Gold stripe Panaque Panaqolus L169. Lots to learn, but keen to find out more
