Hi there, I joined up several days ago then lost my login details :dk:
Hmm, good start. Never mind, I'm on now. The reason I joined is I am really keen to set up a breeding tank for L046 Zebra Plecos as I love a challenge and these guys looking AMAZING!!!
So far I have four different tanks, woops! You would be mistaken into thinking I have nothing better to do. Well actually I'm finally doing things I WANT to do and not just things for everybody else. Yep, I'm a mum of 6 kids, work as a Paramedic and dabbling as a new Author
Can't help myself, really have fallen in love with plecos... I never would have thought that possible. All I ever really wanted to keep was neons in a tank, that's the only fish I even knew about. My how things have changed, dramatically!!!
I have a community freshwater tropical tank which was my very first tank. From there I decided a needed another tank to separate some of the fishes, and basically because I wanted to aquascape a new tank. Then, because I love a challenge, decided I needed to create a beautiful aquascaped 6ft discus tank. Challenge accepted and now complete, although you never really are complete are you?! I also have a sexy little fluval chi tank with some cute corydoras hastatus, cherry shrimp and a half moon betta to brighten up my kitchen
So clearly you can see why I need more tanks! Hmmm, I think my husband doesn't quite get it. Luckily he supports me and is extremely happy with our new aquatic art in our home that all the visitors comment about, lot of 'wow' and 'oohs and ahhs'. Kind of nice to have others enjoy what you love...
So my new mission is to set up a tank to breed L046, eventually... Why, because they have to be the most stunning L number pleco I have ever seen, and they are rare. I really want to do it right so I have been researching, researching, researching... Just like I did with my first tanks.
Not so sure about the budget, but I will see how I go, one step at a time...
Nice to have a forum like this available, can't believe I didn't sign up before.
Cheers
