gender?

I know this is a pretty bad pic and its when I first got them in the mail about 3 weeks ago but is any way to tell the gender of them? They are in a cup a betta came in so they are still pretty small. It's almost impossible to fins them in the tank to get a good pic

lower one male, less sure of smaller one, might need to grow a bit

But how can you tell - they look the same to me - other then one is lighter colored. :dk:
