Hi there, my angel fish has been in quarentine for some time now (3 weeks) Hes got a grey / silver patch near his mouth. It hasn't spread and he seems to be quite happy.

Ive tryed using paragaurd to cure the problem but Ive had no luck it still seems the same size.

any recomondations of what i can use to cure this problem?

It really depends on what the problem is as to what to treat with. Can you get any photos of the area at all?

If it seems to be improving then I would monitor the angelfish for now but keep an eye for any abnormal behaviour or other marks elsewhere. Keep the water in top form as this will reduce any stress and enable him/her to recover.

The only things i use is interpet general tonic and water changes it works 99% of the time main ingreedient is liquidsil really good for most injurys and diseases for fish, but really the main thing would be to do lots and lots of water changes. Dont forget if you use meds then take out the carbon in the filters if you use them. Hope it gets better
