Hello all. Can you help me have a peace of mind that i have done the right thing?
I have never taken the eggs away from the cave before and just need to make sure i have enough flow going over the eggs? The flow is hitting the far end of the tank and coming back over the eggs. Is it enough flow or should i place the egg saver in another position? Some advice would be great.

The eggs

These eggs are from the unknown panaques. So want to make sure they hatch.

Thank you

I'm thinking not enough flow. The flow will be severly restricted by the frysaver. An airdrome in the frysaver should help.

agree with Lornek. Add some more flow or airstone. Ideally you do not want them to be stagnant or not moving. Will be interesting to see which ones they are. cheers jk

Yes I would position the aquaball so the flow hits the side of trap and goes through the slits. Good luck with them :D

agree more oxygen, also if you have time, use a turkey baster and puff gently at the eggs every few hours and try and turn them over (like dad would), also when starting to hatch may need some puffing to help release them from the egg case.
