Four days ago I noticed a big male L260 all bitten up on the tail. His belly looked pretty sunken it as well so that day I added BigL wormer and Prime liquid thinking that might help him a bit to recover.
Two days ago he was still very sunken in with the belly and I added skinned cooked peas to the diet although they were untouched in the tank and a dose of Kusuri plus discus wormer. I knew it was a risk with him being so weak but thought it might just shift what ever his belly bug was.
Yesterday he still looked no better so I did a water change and started a course of Waterlifes Myxazin for bacterial infection. I also discovered a big male L066 who had copped it pretty bad in the body part of his tail so I added him, log and all to the L260 tank for the meds and a little holiday away from his main tank.
Today the L066 looks not just too bad although he needs a few more days Myxazin doses but the L260 is dead.
I took some photos of the L066 (not so easy when in a log) and the dead L260 who looked absolutely awful with a dark green sucked in belly.

Rip male L260
What do you think the trouble was? Could it be something nasty caught off guppies like tetra disease or something? I had been losing the odd guppy but thought it was just because my ph is usually just a bit lower than they like. If I buffer the water a bit to neutral, the guppies usually cheer up.
The other L260's mostly juvies, all look just fine.
Have I done enough in preventing anything else infecting the remaining ones?
