heater guard for eheim jager advice needed

anyone use or hear of JBJ True Temp Magnetic Heater Holder ? -also works as a safety guard...why I want it.

says it will work on Eheim heaters for $29.

anyone have experience with this product ?

Seems a bit much to me.
Never tried it myself but was thinking about using a platic mesh to fabricate a guard then remembered this:

It doesn't mention what type of plastic it is so not sure how it'd stand up to temps but might be an economical alternative.
humm,that looks like the plastic netting we buy onions in... the cover I was looking at has slots , harder plastic. Ok ,thanks everyone, gonna go with it ,should be fine. Thanks,

Its much thicker & harder than the onion stuff. It's used in industrial applications to protect parts so is rather robust.

ok, thanks Lorne, gonna check it out since it's stronger plastic... the onion bags would melt , but this is a possibility ,many thanks ,
